On October 14, Gunnison County CSU Cooperative Extension (CSU CE) hosted its second 2026 Upper Gunnison Basin Inter-seeding Workshop utilizing a new drill seeder owned by the Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy District (UGRWCD) and housed with CSU CE. UGRWCD and CSU CE collaborated on the project focused on supporting local research on high elevation drought tolerant grass hay species. Our sincere thanks to CSU CE Hannah Cranor-Kersting for spearheading this educational effort with support from Dr. Joe Brummer and John Scott.
